Sterile Compounding

Coastal Compounding Pharmacy is a compounding pharmacy for sterile and non-sterile compounding. This assures you that we have met the strict standards established to earn the seal. All sterile compounds are prepared in a state-of-the-art clean room as required by USP< 797>. Our compounding pharmacists and technicians have received advanced training in sterile compounding and attend continuing education on a regular basis. We follow a rigorous cleaning and periodic testing of the clean room by independent testing Laboratory.

We specialize in preparing Injectable medications for erectile dysfunction and sterile fortified antibiotic eye drops.

Strict Policies and Procedures

Some of our policies and procedures we use to ensure the sterility and quality of the finished prescription are as follows:

• Bi-annual outside certification of our clean room, laminar airflow hood, powder containment hood certification, viable air sample testing
• Environmental microbiology sampling
• Independent lab testing
• Proper cleaning and maintenance routines
• Proper staff grooming and gowning before entering critical sterile room
• Routine testing of our pharmacy staff's sterile technique
